Mercedes only made 8007 of the gorgeous W123 series 2 door coupes. And after more than 40 years there are not many left in this shape.This is a very original CA car since new. It has never been in any kind of accident. This 300CD has always been garaged and it shows. It was finished in this very elegant Light Ivory (MB color code 623) with Palomino color MB-Tex interior. The body is very straight and there are no major dents or scratches. The paint still shines like on a much newer car. The interior is very clean as well, as the many pictures will show. There are no rips or tears in the seats, the carpets are clean and even the wood accents are still in wonderful condition. The seats are still firm and comfortable. I just recently took this car on a 300 mile trip and it performed wonderful. I was constantly cruising with 85-90 mph while still getting 27mpg of diesel. There is plenty of power and it really is a pleasure to drive.This car was always maintained very well. All the usual things needing attention have been done.
-all the windows front and back work-sunroof works-door locks work-all instruments work- tires were bought new in December and have less than 1000 miles on them-it always starts up right away
This is a wonderful and well taken care off classic car you could drive every day without thinking twice about it. If you keep up the maintenance, it will only go up in value and should serve you for many more years.
