Hello, you are bidding on a ULTRA RARE 1983 Mercedes Euro Model 280SL with the rare 5 speed Manuel Shift Transmission. The VIN# is WDB10704210016504.This car has Automatic Windows, Power steering power brakes Heated Drivers Seat and Air condition installed. The car looks and runs great. It has brand new tires and a new battery. I have owned this car for 2 years now and have installed a new fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pump relay, oil and oil filter. This car is a true survivor car with only the paint being resprayed last year. The convertible top is in good condition as well as the removable hard top that is shown in the pictures. The speedometer quit working due to the plastic gears needing replaced. Also, the wood trim for the gear shifter in the center console cracked and was broken so I had an extra one but does not have all the slots for the various switches. The radio does not work and may need replaced as well. These are all minor fixes and you can enjoy the car while fixing them along the way. The air conditioner does not work and may need a recharge or check for a leak but the compressor and the belt are still there. In one of the pictures you will see the car being prepped for paint and notice their was no rust on the body of the car. This car was kept in a garage for many years as the previous owner fell sick and could not drive it. I will try to answer as many questions as I can so make sure you ask me anything about the car.
