We purchased this vehicle from a lady who inherited the car from her partner. The story goes that her partner bought it brand new in Germany and imported it to San Francisco in 1970. It spent pretty much its entire life here in northern, CA. This was his pride and joy. He always kept it in the garage, and it has never had any real rust whatsoever. He passed away about a year ago, and his partner had no interest in keeping the car. Unfortunately she only remembers the good times they had with it, but not much about what was done to it. We don?t have excessive paperwork, except for the owner's manual, and clean title. The car's condition will speak for itself. It looks like it was fully restored at some point. The car is beautiful inside and out. It?s finished in gray over stunning black interior. It comes with both the soft top, and hard top. The interior of this vehicle is in great condition as shown. It has an aftermarket radio with navigation and modern features. Lovely marti wood steering wheel, and the original Mercedes wheel is available. Exterior is in excellent condition, paints deep and gossy Watch the video to see the cosmetic condition. Mechanically it runs and drives well. The ride is smooth and sporty. The motor is healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts very well through all gears. The engine and transmission are stock. I6 mated with a four speed manual transmission.
