Vehicle Description

Overall, vehicle is in very good condition. Owned by an adult non-smoker. Leather is good condition. No problems when driving. Stereo and 6 CD changer, located in trunk, work well. Long wheelbase means very spacious interior – more than enough leg room for those in front and back. AC works well. Sunroof works well. Extra thick windows provide a quiet ride.

Known problems:

1. 1.Underside of front bumper has chipped paint and a crack (see pictures). Some light discoloration on top of hood, but not very noticeable (see pictures).

2. 2.Back left window can be finicky, but it’s never gotten ‘stuck’.

Other than these two issues, the car is a fantastic everyday driver. NADA Guide values the base 1993 500SEL between $5,050 and $13,950 (before including leather seats, 6 CD changer and sunroof), with an average value of $8,600. This is priced to move. It was the best Mercedes had to offer in 1993, and is still an excellent ride today.
