1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Silkie Smooth 4 Speed Manual Transmision with Both Tops

I am the second owner of this beutiful car. I bought this SL because it was in great condition and was a rare Stick Shift model. If you haven't driven both an automatic and a stick I would highly recommend it before you buy. The manual is wonderful to drive while the 3 speed automatics are ok but shift rough even when new. I bought it from Leaded Gas Classics in Alabama and they bought the car from the original owners. Most of the pictures are from the dealer with a few shots of my wife and I enjoying the car in Florida. I am selling the car because we are downsizing homes and will soon not have the garage space. I hope you buy my car and enjoy it as much as we have. If you don't buy mine, buy another one because the 280SL is a fun appreciating classic that you will love owning!
