Vehicle Description

Very clean 1991 Mercedes Benz 300 SE, W126 Chassis, short wheelbase.
Acquired from original owner's estate in McLean, VA last summer with 143K original miles. Now has 146K.

Pros:-Extensive maintenance records, and manuals, first aid kit, spare tire, tools all in place(see below)-Drives exceptionally well - smooth, tight, stable, strong brakes - no squeaks, rattles, shimmies, etc.-Garaged from day 1-no kids, no smoke, no pets, no stains, no odors, no abuse-interior is very very clean - back seat appears to have been rarely if ever used, zebrano wood trim is 99% crack free (there is a tiny hairline crack around the shifter that you have to look very hard to find); no cracks in dashboard, gauges are clear and bright, leather is supple and in great shape (very light wear on driver's bolster, otherwise pretty much flawless)-enthusiast owned since last summer and good recent maintenance and updates - please see records below-Accessories that work as designed: All windows, sunroof, auto climate control heat and A/C, drivers power seat (passenger power seat switch only works front/back), cruise-leather has been treated with Griot's Garage products, new hexmat rubber floormats installed (the original Mercedes mats are missing)-has brake dust shields which have helped preserve what appears to be the original finish on the original Mercedes alloy wheels-comes with a number of spare parts that I haven't had the time to install including items for a fresh tune up, fuel filter, power steering filter/fluid, spark plugs, etc. -I have a replacement badge that comes w/ the car for the "300S" emblem on the trunk, which is missing the 'E'
Cons:-Accessories that don't work: radio/cassette, power antenna, passenger power seat only works front/back-original paint looks great from 20 feet away - upon close inspection however, the typical light fading/scratching that seems to happen to light colored Mercedes of this vintage is present-there are a few door dings - nothing major, and I suspect that a dent doctor could remove them for little cost-car needs engine mounts
