1987 MAZDA RX7 COUPE

Up for sale is our 1987 Mazda RX7 that is a rare "NON sunroof/ Slicktop" car finished in satin gold metallic exterior paint with blue interior. This car arrived to us as "non running" upon diving into the mechanicals and using our compression tester we have found the the rear keg to have no compression, it does not register on the gauge and cannot hear any "thump" when cranking.. The front rotor shows a strong 112,125,128 compression which is acceptable to run. Being the car has no compression in the this car is not running but is a FANTASTIC car to finish and rebuild the motor.. This Rx7 shows NO rust and underneath is very clean for the age..
The Rx7 is mostly unmodified but does have front coil-overs, aftermarket intake & a multi point strut bar for the engine bay. The car was also originally a 4 lug "small brake" car that has been converted to the later model 5 lug hubs, turbo 2 wheels and the larger 4 piston brake calipers (about $1500 in parts alone)
As for the interior this car came to us with no interior as it was stripped by the previous owner as they had plans for it. We installed a very nice not cracked blue dashboard and a nice set of factory blue cloth S5 seats.. Obviously the interior still lacks components but we did not have much blue in stock currently and wanted to leave the creative ability to its new owner.
I wanted to offer the car up first prior to pulling the engine to rebuild and complete the interior as that would set the asking price around the 11-12K mark with a fresh engine.. This Rx7 is very clean overall and can truly be a great and not very difficult restoration for someone with time..
