1972 Lotus Europa Twincam

Vehicle Description

For Sale, 1972 Europa Twincam, with the 352 4 speed transmission. Its been in storage for 5 years, running when placed in storage. The Big Valve Engine was rebuilt by Ivey engines, with less than 500 miles since rebuild. It has a JAE baffled oil pan, a high lift cam, pressurized pre-oiler, Jet Hot coated headers, Converted to SU HD6 carbs. The brake boosters were removed and a larger master cylinder was installed.

Replaced all the suspension bushings and Spax adjustable shocks all the way around. It also has adjustable rear toe link rods and the front upper A arms are also adjustable. I rebuilt the left rear upright, new bearings, spline half shaft and U-Joints, Never got around to doing the right side upright. When the engine was out for rebuild, I replaced the long water tubes down the center of the chassis, had the radiator re-cored and a modern electric fan with bypass switch installed.

The fiberglass body has some spider cracks, and some nicks in it. It does have the driver side door droop. I have a new carpet kit, a custom made dash crash pad, and a new replacement center console. Plus a lot of the original parts that were replaced.
