LOTUS SUPER SEVEN / EIGHT. Lotus Super Eight is based on a Dutton B Plus. Dutton made kits and completed Lotus Super Seven cars. While the typical Lotus Seven has an unlock-able bucket rear, this Lotus version has a lockable trunk with an incredible spoiler curving up from rear deck lid. Engine is GM 350 with roller rockers and mild cam, super quiet at idle delivering well over 400hp/massive torque at rear wheel.Has under-dash AIR CONDITIONING, POWER STEERING through mustang 2 hydraulic pump off LS front belt / LS set up, POWER BRAKES, blue backlit gauges, 4 wheel disc brakes, 4 point coil over shock set up. Lotus steering wheel and badging. There too many pieces to mention here. Multiple sets of vintage Thrush aluminum side pipes which alone are worth a great deal, new aluminum rims and new tires all 4, Ford/Lotus cortina rear end limited slip. Panhard trailing arms and differential stabilizer. Adjustable suspension from soft to race level. SOFT TOP AND DOORS to seal off from elements if desired.Currently it is being reassembled and any changes to features or looks can be done by new buyer…ie delete the clam shell fenders for cycle style and or change dash to flat Caterham/Lotus style. New frame painted and new suspension mounts make this rock solid. This car is a Ford COBRA KILLER with a massive power to weight ratio. This is one of a few cars that it so fast it is frightening.
