1969 Lincoln Mark Series

Vehicle Description
1969 Continental Mark III has a gorgeously shining exterior, beautifully upholstered interior with an exquisite driving experience. EVERYWHERE I GO PEOPLE COMMENT ON HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE IS. I have owned her for 4 years, driven her 8,000 miles on summer weekends with the a/c blowing ice cold air. Please feel free to call me at 408.205.4594 Eastern US time.
I have had restoration performed by professionals, for which receipts are available, as follows:

1 New pinion seal in rear differential (February 2022)
Cleaned, boiled and sealed fuel tank (February 2022)
New vacuum line to headlight doors (February 2022)
INTERIOR
The interior looks stunning with reupholstered seats (January 2024). The front and rear floor pans as well as the trunk pan have no rust that I can detect.
ENGINE
Operates as it was intended, plenty of power coming from her 460 cubic inch power plant with 365 horsepower and 500 pounds per foot torque. I performed an engine cylinder combustion test -- all cylinders were at 220 psi except number 6 is 200 (August 2023). There is a slight lifter tick coming from the right rear side that I have noticed but have not addressed. No smoke comes from the tailpipe.
EXTERIOR
She has had one respray that looks gorgeous and glows with shine. There are a few minor, surface rust bubbles appearing that will need attention in the next five years. The front and rear bumper chrome is shinny but far from show quality with some very small holes in the rear bumper end caps that are difficult to see.
NON-OPERATIONAL
1) The gas gauge reads one-half tank too low. A half tank is really full. I cannot tell how empty she is so I fill her every 200 miles.
2) Amperage gauge does not work. I use a portable amp gauge that fits into the cigarette lighter.
3) Oil pressure gauge show little movement. It reads slightly higher when the engine is cold and slightly lower when she warms up.
4) Overhead gauge “Door Ajar” blinks occasionally when the door is closed shut.
5) Headlight doors are supposed to remain closed when the headlights are not in use whether the engine is running or not running but they creep open 5 minutes after the engine is shut off due to a vacuum leak I have not addressed. They open fine when headlights lights are turned on and they stay closed when the headlights are not operating with the engine is running.
6) Windshield washer does not work
7) Automatic headlight dimmer does not work. It works but I do not have the auto dimming dash switch.
8) Power door locks do not work. There is a vacuum leak that I have not located.
9) Engine has a slight, rear main seal leak that I have not addressed
Power antenna does not work
Radio does not work
1 Passenger side power seat switch does not work. Will not go back and forth and is currently in the most back position. A new switch is needed to make it fully operational.
OPERATIONAL
1) Power windows
2) Power steering
3) Power brakes
4) Climate control – just set the temperature and the air conditioning and heat come on automatically when needed
5) Windshield wipers
6) Turn signals
7) Speedometer and odometer
8) Seat belts
9) There must be more to mention this is all I can think of at this time
