This 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Givenchy Edition is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven.

1979 Lincoln Mark V Givenchy Edition.

Crystal Blue in color. 400 Cubic Inch Motor. 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. 47,000 original miles. This vehicle is a barn find and hasn't been driven since 1985.

I dont know a whole lot about this vehicle besides that I don't have the time to put it back together and give it the attention that it needs and deserves.

What I do know that its missing is the trunk letters. One center cap. One bumper guard. Both the drivers and passenger side door glass. Both hood hinges. And the windshield will need to be replaced due to a crack that was a result of the missing hood hinges.

The only thing I've done is get it running and it runs with no abnormal engine noise. The transmission also functions as it should. After idling for a bit the radiator (i believe) has a slow leak. Has all 4 tires and a clean title.

For some reason that I'm not aware of the vehicle was parked in 1986 and professionally painted the original color and left apart. Thats the reason its in so many pieces and why some parts are missing. I assume that over the years some may have been broken, lost or walked away.

Once finished this will make a very nice vehicle and in 1979 was the best of best.
