1991 Land Rover Defender, unique performance build!

Vehicle Description
Unique, low mileage, 1991 Land Rover Defender imported to the U.S. in 2021 and currently titled and licensed in Iowa (VIN#SALLDHMV8HA903066).Professionally modified with an NAS (North American Specification) Land Rover 3.9L fuel injected aluminum V8, a reinforced Land Rover 5 speed transmission, and Heater and A/C system. The heater works great keeping the passengers warm in Midwest winters and the A/C blows cool, not cold but makes summer temps bearable and isn’t an option on normal Defenders of this age.
Truck is very well preserved as I tried to show in the photos.Frame and underbody have been spray coated and frame, body, and window frames are solid and rust free.Fuel Injection works great and the engine starts every time without issue, even in subzero winter temperatures.Original cloth interior is in great condition with bucket seats. Seats have slight wear as seen in the photos but overall highlight the very low miles (42,700 miles, speedo is in kilometers) and care taken with the vehicle.Currently a daily driver and I have driven it between the deep South and Midwest in seasonal heat and cold without issue.Well maintained with synthetic fluid used exclusively.
Vehicle does have the beginnings of galvanic corrosion on the doors, this happens to all Defenders but is still in the very early stages and will be years before it needs to be addressed on this truck.Parking brake cable is broken but replacement cable will come with the truck. As with all Defenders, there will be small drips of fluid occasionally occurring from the transfer case after shutdown.
Great vehicle that is fun to drive and gets a lot of looks and compliments but a new job in a new location is changing my priorities. Happy to answer any questions as well as take any additional photos or videos.Buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup but I will help as much as needed. Thanks!
