1975 Land Rover Santana ** Especial with 50k miles. Full frame off in 2012 with interior completed in 2015. I am the third owner and it is all original! The vehicle has the original 2.25L 4-cylinder diesel engine. The engine was rebuilt to fix a low compression issue and the block and head were machined, new crankshaft, pistons, rings, all seals and gaskets were replaced with new Santana replacement parts. All maintenance performed regularly. It has the Santana synchromesh 4-speed gearbox which is original and was rebuilt in 2012. All drive components were removed from the chassis as well as the body. The chassis was rust treated and painted. The leaf spring style suspension performs as it should! In 1975, all models were fitted with dual circuit brakes as is the Rover with the brake system working as expected.
This Rover was imported from Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain. The hard top is removable and has a half ton capacity with tow hitch. Full time 2wd with 4x4 H/L
