Rare Jeepster "Austere" Commando Convertible 1970.One of about 200 made that year. Started restoration in top quality shop; front end and trim all removed, started to strip/prime for paint.Clear title. Nice frame and decent body with usual floor rust.Good front end sheet metal (pictured, off car) front bumper OK. Includes desirable factory original power steering gear (Saginaw), both original axles, both differentials. No motor or trans.Car was an automatic with factory power steering, power brakes. Very original car that I bought from second owner. I have original paperwork and a set of 4 original hubcaps (not pictured) that is included.Changed plans, now selling off all my Jeepster projects. Car is currently located in central NJ (Marlboro) restoration shop and will be towed to my location in Atlantic Highlands, NJ within the next week.A true (super rare, good shape) convertible top frame and a deluxe used black interior (needs upholstery) is also available and will be listed on ebay soon. Willing to make a package deal for those parts if someone takes whole car and wants to restore back to original (many people prefer to customize these with different tops and interiors, etc.
