KNOW ISSUES
I bought the Wagoneer in 2021 on eBay to be a vehicle I drive at my vacation home, where I spend 10 to 15 days a year. The previous owner replaced the old carburetor with a fuel injection (which makes it more reliable and easier to start), however, I could not register it in Nevada without doing a lot of paper work, which I never had time to do. Other than an occasional trip around the neighborhood, it sat in the garage. It took me until January of 2025 to finally find the time to get it smogged and registered in Nevada.
The car has been driven about 25 miles during the past 4 years. So, many of the seals (what I replaced in 2021) probably need to be replaced again as it leaks oil.
The air conditioning blows hard, just is not getting very cold.It worked well in 2021.Probably just needs to be charged.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Please buy this knowing that it is not a show car (yet). It is a 37 year old, classic American car that has been mostly ignored for the last 4 years. It may have more issues than I can spot.It is being sold is.
I would love to keep it, but it needs to be driven more than 3 or 4 times a year—especially in the Vegas climate, which I cannot do.
The truck is currently garaged in Las Vegas (near Sahara and Valley View).I can arrange to have a friend or neighbor show you it (I am in Texas).
I will be glad to work with the shipper of your choice.
I will do my best to answer questions. While I have had four Wagoneers and know a little, I am not a mechanic.
I need this sold, so it will be a no reserve auction. Payment must be received within 3 business days.
