1990 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer

Vehicle Description

I am selling this 1990 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer, manual 5-speed transmission. engine and transmission are in great condition and every maintenance or update needed has been performed. I purchased this Jeep for my full restoration project and have put well over $4000 into it. My wife and I recently found out we were expecting and a car seat does not do well in the back seat, so therefore I need to sell this beauty.

The repairs and updates I have done are as follows:

To the engine bay:

- all new gaskets (thermostat gasket, valve cover gasket, and required new cylinder head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket)

-new hoses (upper and lower radiator hoses, fixed vacuum lines, etc,)

-new 4-hole fuel injectors

-New exhaust manifold

-new accelerator cable

-new power steering pump and pulley

-new idler pulley

-new serpentine belt

-new air filter

-new fuel line clips and new fuel filter

-new spark plugs, wires, and cap

-changed and calibrated the IAC, TPS, and MAP sensors

-thoroughly cleaned everything (throttle body, long block, intake manifold, valve cover, etc, etc, etc.)

- any maintenance changes or updates needed that may have been missed (I have done everything)

To the suspension:

-new track bar

-new shocks

-new tie rod ends

-new lower control arms

-new bushings in upper control arms

-new sway bar, sway bar links, and bushings

-brand new goodyear wrangler all terrain tires ($400 alone)

I have completely redone the interior, with

-factory premium seat covers

-new windshield, windshield wipers, and rear view mirror

-headliner

-removed and cleaned carpet, added new liner between carpet and floor board

-updated pioneer head unit

-new Bose speakers throughout

- also added metal door handles and mirrors

-added tachometer to instrument cluster

I have additional parts such as:

-wood grain paneling for all doors and instrument bezel

-rubber floor mats

-front guard for off-roading ( I never used it)

-Bishko service manual (CD and PDF)

- a box full of extra parts, screws, bolts, parts that I have collected over the time of restoration

-header panel with black grille and parts

-original black door handles and mirrors

-floor runners for cargo space complete fluid change (oil, oil filter, power steering fluid, coolant, etc)

This is a great deal and I used it as my daily driver for a while. I need to sell it to get a car that can take a car seat, so take advantage of this great offer! you can't find an XJ in such good shape or with a manual transmission.

Smalll things that I didn't get to:

-A/C doesn't work but heat is great

-drivers door doesn't lock (all other doors do)

-small electrical issues (turn signal not working, but did at one time, oil pressure gauge not working, could use new speaker wire, etc)

-could use a new paint job
