1972 jaguar XKE Roadster Custom Speedster V12 SUPER CLEAN CALL 912.4148993

Vehicle Description
There is a lot of information here, please do me the courtesy of reading this entire ad. And, I can not stress this enough ; if you have any questions, or want to buy this car, call me at 912.414.8993. Ebay has proven to be a place where people like to bid on expensive car, win the auction, and then never contact the seller or follow through. For this reason, I have little faith in the ebay auction system and I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME, AND SELL THIS CA, REGARDLESS OF AUCTION STATUS. So, if you want to buy this car, you have to call me. If you want to bid and 'see where the auction goes, you will see the auction end early and you will see another person own this car. OK! Onto this car : My friend recently discovered this 1972 Jaguar in an airplane hangar near us here in Eugen, Oregon. He was able to contact the owner, and talk him into selling the vehicle to him. I have pictures of that da, uncovering the jag and pulling it out of the hangar. If you are interested in seeing these, or any other photos or videos, give me a call. He brought the car home, cleaned it up a bit, drained old fluids, presented clean fluids and new battery and it started easily. Car was originally a 1972 Jaguar XKE V12 2+2 coupe. This was was professionally modified sometime in the 1990s (?) he was told, and not driven much after. Engine and transmission rebuilt at that time, suspension rebuil, all new hoses and hose clamp, bodywork mad, interior made or recovere, dash made, everything ne, or as new. I do not know why the car was never used after this, as it runs perfectly. Hour meter on the dash shows 14.8 hours, and odometer shows 241 miles. We do not know the history or original mileage beyond this. The car does present as ne, both insid, ou, and underneath. Paint is metallic british racing green, and has hand painted pinstriping. Detailing is excellent. I would say car is perfect, except there are some blemishes from sitting idle in the hangar for about 15-19 years, and a couple of very small nicks / dings. I can describe these and send close up photos for you when you call me. Car starts easily with the choke engaged, and warms up easily with great oil pressure as expected. Once warm, runs excellently. Lots of power, and has side-exiting exhaust. Side pipes are mild steel with surface rust present. Chrome dress shrouds would be appropriate and look great here. Brakes feel great and appear to be factory original style. When car was rebuil, wiring was redone and is the only thing that appears to b, visually, not top notch. Some wires are not in a loo, and are loose. Everything works, but some areas are visually not perfect and appear to be amatuerish. Seats, carpet, door cards, etc are perfect, soft and look new. Chrome wire wheels look excellent/ as new. Dash is custom and looks great, as new. Windshield is curved plexiglass and looks like a Jaguar D-Type Style. There is no weather protection. No top . No top frame, no accomodation for a frame or top. This is strictly a good-weather only car. Oddly.... There is a clutch pedal fitted to the car already.... I believe there was going to be a manual gearbox fitted, but they did not get around to that. S, a clutch pedal is hanging in the driver's footwell. If you like, I can remove this for you. Also, if you like, I could fit a manual transmission for you here at my shop (Zombie Motors) . Call 912.4148993 for pricing. We hold signed, clear California title in hand. I can help arrange transportation anywhere in the world for you . In theor, you can fly in and drive this home, anywhere, but it would probably get uncomfortable, especially if it were to rain, or hail, or be smoky along the route home... While this is in some ways like a kit ca, it is actually an original Jaguar XKE, and is still numbers-matchin, and the level of quality of parts put into making this a speedster is very high quality. It must have cost north of $100,000 to build this car, and it has only been run 241 since. The v12 engine was rebuilt and is beautiful. The car is beautiful, and it is not a fiberglass copy/ replica/ etc. Seems to be a bespoke roadster made on a 2+2 coupe original donor. By the wa, there is absolutely no rust anywhere in the ca, and has never been . Body/ doors/ shell/ floors/ etc are all absolutely perfect, you could really eat your lunch out of any of them. I have many dozens more pictures of all of thi, including the car up on a lif, happy to share the photos, but you will have to call me to discuss and ask me to send more photos. Why do you have to call me? Because it shows me you took the trouble to read my ad, and you are willing to make the effort to pick up the phone and call me. If you are not ready and willing to make a phone call to me, then you are definitely not in a position to buy an expensive exotic ca, and I am not interested in sending photos to people who are not able to buy this car. My time is valuable to me. SO - If you are genuinely interested, please call me ! 912-414-8993 Thank you !!

I do not take these bids seriously, people always win the auction and then do not pay. The people who call are always the ones who buy the car.
