The car underwent a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration in 2013 totaling $57,482.02. The still shows very nice and drives amazing. This would be a great car to for anyone looking to truly drive and enjoy a classic Jaguar, as this car just loves to be driven. You can hear it in the wonderful sounds the exhaust makes!Exterior:We just detailed the car and the paint shines nice and deep. All of the brightwork is in great shape and it too shines beautifully. The knockoff wheels are in great shape with no signs of damage or corrosion. The top folds up, functions, and is in great shape. All of the glass is clean and in great shape. There are some minor paint imperfection due to the older restoration, but the car is in very, very nice shape overall.Interior:The interior is in great shape. The tan leather is very soft and is shows well. The dash and gauges are all very nice and everything appears to be woking. The carpet and door cards in good shape, as well. There is one small piece of trim that needs to be repalced on the driver's door.Mechanical:The car runs and drives great! Even when cold if you pull the choke and depress the gas pedal a couple of times, the car fires up every time! There brakes are very shape and the car stops very evenly. The steering is tight and the suspension feels very tight. The car shifts smoothly and there is nothing we can see that needs attention at this time.
