The E-Type Series 3 (XKE Coupe 2+2) was introduced in 1971 with a new 5.3L Jaguar V12 Engine upgraded brakes and standard power steering. The brand new V12 engine was originally developed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was equipped with four Zenith carburetors. The final engine was designed to produce 272 hp with more torque than previous models a 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds and top speed of over 135mph. This Coupe is 1 of only 7297 coupes built.
