1972 international harvester scout ii CA Scout Stock n Original

Vehicle Description
1972 International Scout IIV8 345 727 Torqueflight– Mild Restoration – Classic California 4x4Up for no-reserve auction is my 1972 International Scout II. This rig had a mild restoration a few years back — nothing over the top, but enough to clean it up and keep it solid. It's a California vehicle, so the body has held up well over the years. The inside floors were coated with heavy-duty undercoating to prevent rust, and the floorpans are still original and untouched. This truck was never wrecked or taken apart. It’s running the legendary Chrysler 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission, rebuilt about eight years ago, with under 23,000 miles on it since. The odometer reads 45,000 but hasent worked in the past two years because of the cable. I did order the cable but never got around to fixing it.It's got the original V8 345 cid motor, untouched example of a survivor, including orignal air cleaner and valve covers. The engine is all stock and runs strong, no knocking or smoking — you’ll hear it for yourself in the video. The original 2-barrel carburetor works but is out of tune and could use an adjustment or a rebuild. If it were me, I’d keep it and rebuild it to maintain the stock setup.Paint looks sharp with its green-over-white scheme. There are a few minor bodywork flaws here and there — nothing major, just part of its character. Overall, it cleans up great and turns heads as-is.This Scout still has a lot of its original features, including:Original radioOriginal + more accurate updated gaugesOriginal front and back seats (upholstery under the covers shows normal wear and tear)Classic steering wheel with a great vintage lookSteel wheels, steel body — this thing is a tankMild lift kit (not extreme), sitting on 31-inch tiresLocking hubs and 4WD that engages with no issuesUndercarriage is solid — check the video for full walkaround and engagement clipsFarm jack mounted on the front bumper for that old-school utility vibeBrakes might need a little adjustment — nothing serious. Just one of those small weekend jobs you can do yourself. This is a pre-computer, pre-sensor rig. No complicated electronics — just simple, reliable mechanics that you can wrench on at home.Clean title in hand.
