1964 International Scout 80 Red Carpet Special

Vehicle Description
Red carpet Scout barn find from Oklahoma. According to the LST it was delivered in Oklahoma which means it probably spent it's entire life in Oklahoma. This may be why it is in such great shape. All rust is surface rust except for two small dime size holes in the driver's side bed. This vehicle is 100% all original and has no body filler. Has had a paint job in the past but it's a 2 out of a 10.I just registered this in my name so it has current Texas tags and title. I should have the title in my hand in the next two weeks.Starts, runs, drives, and stops great but this is by no means a daily driver. I have replaced a lot of items to make it running and driving and I have saved all parts including every nut, bolt, and washer. All the items I replaced are as close to factory except the aluminum radiator. I do have the original radiator. This could be a high dollar Scout because it has all the hard to find red carpet items including the dash vent cover, door emblems, seats, and headliner mounting strips.I have replaced the ignition system, fuel system, brake system, clutch system, and cooling system. The rear axle has all new seals and bearings but needs the pinion set. The front axle leaks and needs completely rebuilt. Lights and horn are not connected because I do not trust the original wiring system. Both axles are 4.27. Needs exhaust system, a new oem style muffler is included. I've also replaced the tires, shocks, door handles, carpet, seat cushions, and glove box hinge. The wheels have been reconditioned including the spare wheel and have the proper inner tubes. Tires are Hankook P235/75r15.I'm sure there is something I'm missing so please message me with your questions but please do not ask for a list of everything I've replaced or everything that needs to be replaced because this vehicle is 61 years old and I will not reply. But if you have a specific question I will do my best to answer it.If I do not sell this for what I'm asking I will take my time to fully restore it and take it to a Mecum or equivalent auction. If you are looking to buy this for cheap then please look somewhere else because I know how rare this is and how much it could sell for fully restored.Located in El Paso, Texas. I could deliver for a fee if within 500 miles of El Paso and if payment is received in advance. For sale locally and on other sites so I will end if it is sold.
