Vehicle Description

Auctions take time, money, and effort, please only bid if you are a serious buyer who fully intends to close the deal at the end of the auction! Here is a running, driving early scout II with some good features and options! It has the 304 v-8, with a Holley 2 barrel manual choke carburetor, true dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers, electronic distributor, power steering, 4 speed manual transmission, 2 speed transfer case. The front axle is a Dana 30 with aftermarket hub lockers and recent shocks. The rear is a Dana 44, unknown gearing. A new battery was installed in the past few months. The exterior is red, with Vinyl white graphics that are removable if desired. Top is also removable, and has the sliding side windows. The interior has a recent carpet kit, really nice dash pad, a blue tooth stereo with remote control, and new speakers. Seats are in great condition with no tears or wear evident. There is also a factory console between the 2 front low-backs.Four new 31 inch off road A/T tires are installed on 15 inch wagon wheels, and a 5th wagon wheel/spare is stored in the rear of the passenger compartment. There is a new key/tumbler/ignition switch, and new turn signal switch installed as well, so turn signals/lights/wipers are functional. The body and frame look to be in good shape, spending probably all its life in the south, away from harsh winters/salty roads. Door seals were also recently replaced. The jack is missing, unknown number of previous owners. This scout has good power and shifts nice for an old truck! It has been driven off-road occasionally for the past year or two, but not on road/ highways for quite a few. There are no current tags/inspection/plates on it. About 9k miles showing on odometer, assume it has rolled over, so probably about 109k miles, but not confirmed one way or another. Please note, This truck is over 50 years old, not a brand new Honda, not a show car nor a perfectly restored example. Its a fun to drive toy that gets lots of looks and complements though!I do have a recent clean, clear Texas title in my name, in hand. This year vehicle should be emissions exempt, even in CA!Driving and walk around videos:Youtube video https://youtu.be/5UBGMS51QcM?feature=shared https://youtu.be/V5xUb4xmlSo?feature=shareAs a bidder, you are bidding to OWN the vehicle, not the first right of refusal.
