Vehicle Description

Up for sale is a very nice and nice running 1947 International KB-1 Short box pickup, owned by my friend for 50 years. Yes, he bought this little truck in 1975 from the second owner. The truck was originally purchased by the Handford Atomic Energy Corp at Richland Washington. Then bought by a friend of my friend and brought to Clarkston Washington. It has been in southeast Washington it's entire life. The truck is pretty much stock with its original engine, that was completely rebuilt in 1981 and new rearend gears were installed at the same time. It received a new clutch, Pressure plate and throughout bearing in 2000 and new brakes and master cylinder in 2010. A recorded radiator, new heater core, new fuel pump and generator rebuild were finished in 2020.In 2004 the truck got a new paint job. This rust-free truck was taken apart, striped to bear metal, the box was sandblasted, and then new paint was applied inside and out in its new colors. The truck was reassembled with all new glass, rubber moldings and the front bumper was re-chromed. (Please look at all pictures closely) The only nonstock changes are wheel and tires, and it has been converted to a 12-volt system and completely rewired. My friend has driven this pickup regularly for 50 years and it has been garage kept inside for the last 44 years. Teh Speedometer is showing 67,240 miles on it, but Its propyl has turned over. This truck is not a show truck but a very nice driver quality truck. I'm Listing this nice little pickup for my friend, and I will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can or just come drive it home. For your questions, please call Bill 208-750-0000.
