I bought the little car because my wife's friend had one and she wanted one. We drive it occasionally in the evenings around our country area,
I was going to restore it but I just have too many projects. Currently restoring a 1973 Honda Elsinore CR250 and a 1980 Camaro Z28 4spd manual.
I have a clean blue title for the car that has been signed by the previous owner but not dated....
When I bought the car, it did not run...I dropped / cleaned the tank, ran a rubber fuel line to the fuel pump, cleaned the carb and it runs great.
Clutch works great.
Fuel gauge works sometimes.
Installed seat covers not meant for the car but did my best to make them work
Transmission works great
Overhead console map light works
I rebuilt the brake master and installed it but never blead the lines...I use the emergency brake to stop or just down shift.
See pictures...it does have some rust on the hood, roof line, back rear fenders, inside on the floor it has a few little holes, one by the driver seat is about 3in x 1in. Most just need some brazing.
Lights, side markers and fog lights work.
Turn signals work
Horn works
Wipers do not work
Speedo and rpm gauge work
Radio tries to work AM
Love how the spare tire slides in under the bumper... (see pic)
