1987 GMC R15 Conventional Pickup Blue R1500
Vehicle Description
1987 GMC Sierra 1500 factory stepside short bed pickup. Fitech EFI on new Gen 6 GM 454 big block. RPM air gap intake. Clay Smith camshaft. Custom dual exhaust long tube ceramic coated headers, with x pipe and stainless steel magnaflow type mufflers. New 700R4 - 4 speed automatic transmission. New aluminum radiator and CVF 8 rib serpentine accessory drive. New posi unit and 3:73 rear gears New complete American Autowire wire harness throughout. New brakes front and rear, new master cylinder, proportioning valve, hoses, drums, rotors, and copper nickel lines Belltech 2-1/2 front drop spindle and 4 inch rear flip kit - no notching and no rubbing. New upper control arms, all new steering components - including control arm bushings. New rear leaf springs, shackles and bushings in rear Frame was cleaned and coated in POR 15 and then top coated. Underbody was cleaned and epoxy coated and sealed in chassis black - this was a full frame off - fully stripped build - nothing was left untouched. New oak bed flooring and stainless hardware, new tail lights, new tailgate hinges, stainless chains, roll pan is bolted in with stainless hardware and can be removed for a fractory style bumper if wanted. Body was super clean to start - sanded and blasted, epoxy sealed and repaired. only requiring a small patch on drivers side lower b pillar. New inner front wheel wells, new windshield and all new gaskets and seals throughout the cab. Interior cab was treated to noico sound deadening mat and new ACC custom carpet, new seat cover and new seat belts. The dash pad visors, and door cards remain original. The column was rebuilt, added a new Retrosound bluetooth radio (dash uncut) and new custom speakers behind the seat tucked into the B pillars. Detroit steel wheels - 18 inch "Delrays" - wrapped in Toyo Proxies ST 255/55/R18, new center caps. After epoxy sealing the entire body - House of Kolor Stratto Blue and finished with Valspar high solids clear New grill, trim, lights and new front bumper. New wiper motors, wiper transmission, wiper arms, washer bottle, coolant overflow bottle, etc all new. This restoration was finished in July of 2024, but lack of time to drive it that fall so it was put in dry storage over winter. It is time to sell only due to lack of time to use it as intended. This truck is being sold at cost of parts. This truck has a clean green title in my name. This sale/auction is "as is and where is" no exceptions.
