There is a heater box under the dash. It can be seen in a few pics.As you can see the fan switch is not installed. I have it, (came with truck)looks to be NOS?, with a GM box, chrome knob, mounting nut and bracket.
Re-plated hood jet, and fuel door guard both included, but neither one is mounted. The small "GMCs" in pic are keys chains, (3-d chromed metal).
Original oil bath air cleaner also included, (pictured pass side door open, front floorboard,)a few other random used parts included.
The custom GMC dash came with the truck, so I know very little about them, has GPS speedo control. Receipt dated 2021.
My knowledge of the trucks' past is limited. Was told after restored, spent time in Ohio museum.Previous owner bought 2021 +/-They added electric fuel pump, (stock pump still mounted on engine, shown in pic).Early 2024, all new brakes; drums, shoes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and soft hoses.Four new tires, very few miles since, they still look nearly new. Has an older spare.
I purchased truck June 2024. Replaced points with Pertronics.Timing reset and rocker lash adjusted. Compression checked, all eight tested very good.Easy start and driver, smooth idle, steering tight, stops good.Added aluminum radiator with an on demand electric fan.
Rear end not original, Dana Ring gear dated Feb. 3, 1957, 3:07 Ratio.Just finished July 2025; new rear axle bearings and third member bearings.Ring gear and pinion looked good, no damage or excessive wear.I did replace one rear axle with a new one. (I have receipts).
Front end still has the original "Road shock dampers" these were standard on Suburban / Carryalls, optional on others.
Truck located Fayetteville Arkansas 72701I'm available to show / load anytime weekends, and after 5 weekdays. (central time)
