Vehicle Description

Classic Car Addict is excited to present this awesome 1977 GMC Eleganza II 26-foot motorhome for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. GM made these comfortable and distinctive motorhomes for five years only, from 1973 to 1978 -- an innovative front-wheel-drive configuration allowed for a low and flat deck (which makes for very gracious living accommodations). And it's still the only recreational vehicle of this size made before or since by a major automobile manufacturer. The interior was recently upgraded with new floors, window seals, interior panels, new curtains, updated lighting, and was fully reupholstered by Anthony's upholstery shop in Chandler, Arizona. The kitchen has a new faucet, and the bathroom has a new toilet as well as a new showerhead. All overhead compartments were all rebuilt and are like new. The consignor also added a rear AC unit and all new batteries. They also installed a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo and rearview camera. The exterior is also in really great shape! The one is finished in Beige with teal and blue accents throughout. There are a few little flaws, but no rust! The roof was recently sealed, all fuel lines replaced, waste tank replaced, brakes inspected, sensors and monitoring station replaced all at Gene's RV in Mesa, Arizona. All exterior marker lights were also replaced as well. The motorhome is powered by a 403 ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. The engine was just rebuilt by S&J Engines in Spokane. They also installed a rebuilt carburetor and new ignition parts. It has a new torque converter, new batteries, and replaced the air pump. Golby Motors also installed new drive axles. It rides on seven new tires, had a complete brake job done by Roberts Tire and all steering components were changed (tie rods, ball joints, drag links, control arm bushings, etc). This is essentially a brand-new motorhome with a vintage look, call Classic Car Addict today with any questions,480-256-1459.
