1956 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4

1956 GMC 1/2 ton with 3/4 ton running gear that hasn’t been registered or used since 1991 black and yellow California plates built in Oakland California and resided in the Santa Cruz mountains all its life . Truck has the original V8 motor and turns freely by hand and all running gear is intact .I have a rebuilt Carter carb for it as well and seat frame assembly and GMC hood insert. Please call for details. Pretty nice condition for the year. I decoded the VIN and it shows a 1/2 ton truck from the factory but has 3/4 ton running gear. I’m not going to venture to say what actually transpired with the truck in the last 69 years so what you see is what you get. It appears that if a 4 wheel drive conversion was done by an individual rather than the factory they did an amazing job.Truck has a bunch of potential and rust around the lower driver door .
