Vehicle Description

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this very rare and highly desirable garaged and rust free 1959 GMC 100 Series Pick Up with the coveted rear 'Big Window' with a 350 c.i. crate motor with a mild cam, a 5 speed 'Tremec' manual transmission, Mag wheels, 'Flowmaster' dual exhaust, a hardwood finished bed & triple chrome on bright work!By the late 1950's Chevrolet/GMC had finally reached some of their finest pick up... designs ever. Many changes were implemented that make these trucks the best and most desirable of the era. They are arguably some of the coolest trucks ever built, tough, solid, practical and ruggedly handsome! This may explain their success when new and their cult like following status today as collectibles! The easiest way to recognize the late '50's models is by the cab with the slant front windshield pillars gone in favor of the more refined and highly desirable wrap around windshield leading the earlier models to be referred to as 'slant cabs'. The '56 cab design change led to all kinds of additional changes such as a more rectangular shaped vent window and of course different door windows and division bars from the 'slant cabs'. The rarely ordered wrap around 'Big Rear Window' trucks are now highly coveted and the most desired and collectible amongst truck enthusiasts. This rust free show truck was restored a few years ago and is truly a very striking example which also drives incredibly well. The truck bed has all new Hardwood and as you can see, this particular example is still absolutely stunning and show ready with all new chrome including triple chrome on the bright work, front and rear bumpers and engine components; it was obviously lovingly restored with absolutely no expense spared. This truck must be seen to be believed and driven to be fully appreciated - the new GM 350 V8 crate engine is matched to a 5 speed 'Tremec' manual transmission. The truck has been repainted in a striking 'Deep Sky Blue' color paint and the restored black upholstery interior with painted Blue metal dashboard and doors is in excellent and very striking condition throughout. This must be one of the finest example's available of this highly collectible and very desirable 1959 GMC legendary 100 series Big Window pick up with no rust whatsoever and a turn-key ready daily appreciating, daily driving and daily head-turning all time classic American truck!
