1965 Ford Galaxie Squire Station Wagon

Vehicle Description
1965 Ford Galaxie Squire Station Wagon
Purchased out of Southern California in 2015 and has been driven every other month since. I’m in the new stage of life with two young kids and don’t have the time for repairs or restoration anymore! The car does not have a third-row seat but did originally come with AC and power steering. The car cleans up much better than it shows!! It’s a crowd favorite at every car show!! Important details below.
Engine fully rebuilt in 2016; once apart, it’s a donor FE360 from a 1968 Ford.
New crank, new pistons, new rings, rebuilt heads, Edelbrock intake, rebuilt Edelbrock carb. New water pump, new fuel pumper, new oil pump, new pushrods, new rocker shafts, new main and rod bearings. All new ARP bolts were used during assembly.
FMX green dot trans fully rebuilt at the same time as the motor. New torque converter, pump, and clutch discs.
Tall Lokar shifter added then because there wasn’t a short version available.
Exhaust is straight pipe to Magnaflow mufflers with dumps behind the rear wheels.
New battery last year.
New tailgate last year after the bottom of the original rusted out. I found a Mercury wagon tailgate that fit but it still needs trim.
Rear window motor works but the contacts need to be cleaned to work regularly.
Power brakes and front disc brakes were added two years ago.
Front suspension was fully rebuilt at the same time.
All the glass is in good shape.
All window rubbers could use replacement
SOLENOID DOOR UNLOCK. The previous owner removed the handles and installed the solenoids.
The hood has 8 dimple and die holes added when I had 8 too many beers.
Wheels and tires were new and installed during the suspension rebuild and brake upgrades.
Minor rust spots on the roof and in a few spots along the body.
Minor rust bubbling at the bottom of the doors that have not changed since I bought the car.
Front LED lights added and LED bulbs in the rear.
IT DOES HAVE A MINOR REAR MAIN SEAL LEAK THAT LEAVES A FEW DROPS OF OIL WHEREVER IT'S PARK!!!
...just wanted to be clear on that.
Lastly, I'm happy to help facilitate delivery, or even fully deliver it to you if my schedule and the distance allows.
