Vehicle Description

1971 Ford LTD convertible. 1 of 1 as per Marti report. 429 4V. Runs and drives great. Dual exhaust. Top works as it should. New tires. The original engine threw a rod through the block. It was rebuilt using original parts except the block, pistons, and rods about 15,000 miles ago. Original block goes with the sale. Original transmission was replaced with one out of a 1972 Mercury. This vehicle needs new window regulators in both doors. One has been removed and all parts are included. Runs, drives, and stops great. This is a good project vehicle. Local pickup only.

Vehicle Details

This car was special ordered to serve as a pace car at a local dirt track. It was purchased from the track in 1972 and has been in my family ever since. I have too many vehicles to give this the attention it deserves. I’m happy to answer and questions.
