this is an early 1965 mustang coupe i have had for about 10 years or so. during that time it has had a new hood new fenders new door skins new rockers new quarter panels new headlight housings and headlight buckets new front splash pan new windshield new door hinges new splash shields new trunk lid new rear splash pan new taillights new front and rear bumpers new front and rear bumperette's new carpet new seat covers new dash pad new door panels new steering wheel and horn chrome new headliner new seat belts new dash cluster new door latches new door strikers and in the last two years new trunk mat and tire cover new gas tank new gas tank sending unit new tires new gas cap new locks new dash switches new radio new antenna new front turn signals new door handles inside and out new floor mats new aluminum radiator new alternator new fuel pump new carburetor new hoses new battery and painted Wimbledon white two or three years ago base coat clear coat ..this car has been garage kept during all the process and has always run to go from garage to garage . then i saw what looked like a rust bleed from one of therear freeze plugs on the engine so we pulled the engine and took it to the machine shop and had the block redone cleaned honed bearings rings gaskets and it runs like a top.it does have a 2.77 tranny which means early 65 non synchronized first gear no pulling it in first at 30 mph .it's the 200 ci inline six and pretty peppy .original exhaust should be replaced in a year or two I've had it out many times and it steers and drives nice maybe get the wheels spun balanced . I've noticed around 60 to 70 mph. I'm selling due to health reasons, two heart attacks and diabetes hard to get in and out of. selling as is. look it over great starting price for all you get. Its missing spare tire and jack. great loud horn by the way.
