Up for sale is a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback A Code. This classic has been in my possession for the past 25 years as a driver and show car. It retains the original 289, which runs extremely well and and very dependable. The car retains all of its original ford metal, except for the rear lower vance which now allows dual GT exhausts (vehicle has an h-pipe with Flowmaster mufflers and sounds outstanding). It has a Ford 9” rearend with posi-traction and 3.90 gear ratio. Heavy duty 5 leaf rear GT leafs are on the backend and front has GT lowering springs. Shelby 1967 Disc Brakes are up front and drums in the rear. The wheels are new Shelby Legendary Magstar 15x7’s with newer staggered Cooper Cobra GT Radials. Tires are 245/60r15 in rear and 235/60r15 in front. The car has a custom stereo, which was incorporated without damaging ANY of the original vehicle parts. Custom kick panels up front have JL speakers, an Alpine deck is mounted below the dash, and there’s a 400w Alpine Amp and 10” sub in the trunk that was all built within a custom enclosure and not damaging the vehicle. Entire system can be removed in a few minutes, should buyer wish to go back to original trunk configuration and stock. The front seats are custom TCI mustang kit, utilizing the factory seat frames but with much more support, bolster, and safety…absolute game changer for classic car comfort and decor. This vehicle was originally the highly desireable factory color of Acapulco Blue, so the buyer always has the option to go back to original, if needed. The factory C4 and rearend are in my possession and included with the sale if the buyer desires. Frame of vehicle is rock solid, paint is from early 2000 era and looks outstanding out in the sun from a few feet away. Paint has minor blemishes for the age, but car continues to turns heads everywhere, as it sounds, looks, and drives good. This is a vehicle that was manufactured nearly 60 yrs ago. I have driven it multiple times a year for the past 25 yrs and have found it to be extremely dependable.
