1930 Ford Model A reproduction - built by Shay in 1980

Vehicle Description
1980 Ford Shay. Has the look and feel of a 1930 Ford Model A. But with more modern drivetrain. This car will go straight down the road at 65 miles an hour. The brakes work well and rides very nicely. We had the brakes and drivetrain checked out professionally about 500 miles ago. Replaced the shocks and battery. Whitewall tires are in decent shape and do not have weather checking. We purchased this car for my father-in-law several years ago. We wanted him to feel comfortable and the car to be reliable for his 20 mile drive into town. The car has always been in the garage since we owned it. The top is in great condition. All snaps work and it retracts easily. The rumble seat works great and is comfortable for the grandkids. Seat belts up front and in the rumble. All the lights work. There is a small tear in the driver seat back. We have all of the side curtains and they are in good shape.Ford licensed Shay to reproduce a few different bodies in 1979 and 1980. They used a pinto drivetrain for mechanicals. Parts are easy to find and most any auto repair shop can work on it. There are not a ton of them around. But it's a great compromise between an original model A and a more modern drivetrain. Clear Kansas Title.
