The truck was used to haul horses around the Hollywood hills. The truck itself is 100% rust free retaining all its original factory steel. Under our ownership we stripped the entire cab down, including all windows, interior and headliner. There was absolutely no rot rust. The prior owner did do a cheap paint job at a shop in California back in 2019. There are signs of prior body work noted in the pictures and the paint job is a driver quality paint job. During the repaint in 201, the invoice states the passenger front door was replaced. Below is a detailed list of items we did after taking ownership.~MechanicalThis truck came to us running and driving, although a bunch of things needed to get addressed, so here is a list of things we did to get this truck to a reliable daily driver truck. The following items were replaced-Exhaust Manifold gaskets-All new custom exhaust system, 2 1/2 to a single flow master muffler. She sounds great-Intake manifold gasket-Valve cover gaskets- All new belts and hoses- Radiator was cleaned out and pressure tested for leaks- New starter motor- Rebuilt Holly 1850 model 600 CFM 4Bbl carb that runs fantastic-Timing chain gasket (timing chain looked new )- New water pump- New thermostat- New fuel pump- New distributor with pertornix electronic ignition- New spark plugs and wires- C6 transmission has new input seal, output seal and shift linkage seals as well as new filter and pan gasket.- New 2 piece drive shaft with new U-Joints and new carrier bearing.- Dana 60 has new pinion seal and new cover seal and all fluids changed.- Prior owner stated that brakes had just gotten done, we examined them and found them to be in excellent condition. The truck has 4 wheel drum power assist brakes and the function very well.- Ice cold AC made by Old Air Products that uses r134a-Electrical systems all work with every aspect of them tested and replaced as needed. All gauges, lights and switches function properly.- Removed fuel tank and cleansed it ou, checked for rust / leaks- Steering components all checked and replaced where needed, this truck has no slop at all. It steers nice and tight like it should.~Interior- New windshield and seal- New Carpet- New seat covers made from raw material from SMS auto fabric, and custom made covers by Gem State Upholstery here in Idaho. These are not generic pre made seat cover, these are custom made to fit with all new foam and burlap- Blue dash cap was installed- Bluetooth radio by Retro sound- Doors were completely disassembled and new door felts installed as well as mechanical parts in the doors serviced and lubed for proper function. Windows and doors all open and close like they should.~ Exterior- Budget paint and bodywork done by original owner in 2019 from a shop in California. The truck looks decent from 10 feet but there are noticeable areas of bodywork and poor prep work.
