1937 ford pickup truck 1/2 ton all STEEL

Vehicle Description
Here we have up for your consideration, a patina all steel1937 Ford pick up truck. The truck is a 1938 flathead. Backed up behind 38 or 39 style transmission. the engine has electronic ignition and12 V so it fires up immediately. The transmission shifts nicely although it does pop out of second gear once in a while. If this is amajor concern, I have multiple transmissions that are rebuilt and can be included with the truck. Also has hydraulic breaks, which work excellent. four tires with 95% tread 750s on the back 600 on the front.Fresh fuel system, including fuel pump, carburetor, fuel, lines filter, and a very clean original tank.I bought this truck up in Oregon probably 7 to 10 years ago. Sold it to a friend because he loved the way that it looked. I ended up buying it back about a year ago. The chassis under it was terrible so I replaced it with a nice solid Correct style chassis. There is one small area of repair which is pictured on the passenger side frame rail before the kick up.As I mentioned before this is very much a patina truck. And I liked it that way however I did a lot of metal work to it. Cab corners, rockers, Lower cowl Patches etc.I also did the rear crossmember on the bed, lower Stake pockets and a new headboard in the bed as well. I took a piece of the original steel that had the green paint on it, had it matched and fogged it in a little bit here and there. The truck has an extremely nice grill in it, which did not come with this truck. Everything else you see on it sheet metal wise did. Except the tailgate, which is correct original 37 just wasn’t on this truck.I have a few extra parts that will go with it. It’s got new glass, but I did not install it in the doors yet, but will be glad to do it for the new owner. I kept the doors even though they’ve got rust in the bottom pretty bad because they matched the rest of the truck. I have another set of doors that are very solid and they go with the truck. I also have a nice solid windshield with much better glass in. It also goes with the truck. I left this one in there because it matches and it is original to the vehicleThe truck runs and drives and starts up every time. I put a lot of time to make it look like it just came out out of the field. There’s very little rest left on this truck as I mentioned the doors, but I have replacement doors that go with it. There’s a little bit of rust here and there with the fenders meet the running boards but most of it’s been replaced. My plan was to run it like this and that’s what I did.Truck is located in Auburn California can be picked up or shipped out of there. Or brought back down to Belmont and picked up or shipped out of here.Has a current California title As a 1937 Ford pick up.Deposit should be made through PayPal within 24 hours of auction and if you don’t have the money, please don’t waste my time.
