Vehicle Description

This auction is for a 1951 Ford F1 Half Ton Panel Van. Recently out of lengthy storage. When we acquired it the vehicle had been painted a dark blue and it was peeling and chipping everywhere. We stripped the vehicle down to bare metal, primed it completely and then painted the top section flat white. Inside was several different colors so we stripped that also and put it back to the red that it was. Cleaned up some of the prior body work that was done just to make it more presentable. Back doors still have some dents and will need attention. Inner wheel tubs are all intact but should be stiffened up. We cleaned up the back frame section which is good and solid and under coated it. Bolted in a piece of heavy duty ply wood for the back floor. Has a mid 80s 305 V-8 4BBL with Automatic Transmission, Dual Exhaust. We did get it fired up and seems to run fine but carburetor needs cleaning or replacement. Brakes will need to be gone through. We got the right side front to bleed and hold if your going slow. Glass in drivers door is cracked and will need replacement. Just a cool rig to make a rat rod or fleamarket vehicle. A blank canvas for whatever way you want to go. We do have the front bumper. It has a crack on the right side that needs to be welded and then paint it. Overall a real cool project if you put the time and effort into it. Very reasonable reserve. We have a Maine Registration and proper dealer transfer paperwork should you need a title in your state.
