1988 Merkur XR4TiParts or Project Car
Car is located in NW Ohio - Approximately 20 miles from Ohio Turnpike (I-80/90)
This very rare Merkur is a German Ford, built in 1988. The engine is a 2.3l Turbo 4-cylinder engine. This is the same engine as found in the SVO Mustangs, some Mercury Capri's and Thunderbird TurboCoupes.

This Rear Wheel Drive car features a manual, 5-speed transmission.

This is a very fun car and would make a great project vehicle.

The prior owner replaced the radiator and the new exhaust is located in the hatch and yet to be installed. The passenger front caliper will need to be replaced (it was locked up when I bought it but does spin freely now). The headlights are missing and there is no battery. The floor pans will need some attention. Other than the floor pans, there is really not much rust on this car. Some surface rust on the passenger rear quarter panel (as seen in the photos). The interior is pretty clean for its age, as seen in the photos.

I have no idea if the mileage is accurate or not...(see photo of dash)
