Vehicle Description

This is a 1993 Ford F150 Lighting the first year Ford came out with it to compete with GM's 454 pickup. If your looking at it I am sure you know about them, bad ass truck Ford said it was basically a Mustang GT with a bed on it. Only 5,276 were made in 93 2,691 in black and 2,585 in red.

This is a solid truck with no rust, take a look at the pictures the underneath is just as clean. It has a small dent in the front passenger fender that you can see in the one picture. Even the bed is in great shape.It could use a paint job as the paint is faded.

I swapped a 34 Ford pickup for this and I have another project that I am working on so I have no time to work on it. It runs very strong and sounds awesome. It has a oil leak coming from the oil pan- needs a new gasket. It also smokes out of the right side exhaust sometimes, comes and goes. I do know the truck was sitting for awhile. A/C is not hooked up. All lights work, this is a great truck to bring back to the showroom condition. I took it up the next road today and had a neighbor pointing at it.

I feel that the truck has great potential to be a real head turner. Truck is sold as-is with no warranties. Will consider trades.

04-04-2017 Note* So I have been thinking about this oil leak and the smoking - when I got the truck I checked the oil and it was low so I added some which is what caused the problem. The oil dipstick is wrong for the truck, I know this because the tube for the dipstick was loose. When the headers were put on the mounting bracket wouldn't fit so they just left it off. I pulled the dipstick tube out to trim the mounting bracket and oil came pouring out of the filler tube hole so the oil was higher than the oil pan which is way too much. The truck wasn't driven like this but I'm sure the motor got a good oil bath thru it which is why it was smoking. I am ordering a tube from Summit Racing to get the right dipstick and will drain the oil and install it this weekend.
