1953 Ford Mainline Car-Barn Find!

Vehicle Description

I found this Ford Mainline not far from my area, was sitting in a building since 1976. Waiting on the title work but will come with a clear Nebraska title guaranteed or you don't own it. I forgot to ask but believe it is a 1953 but could be a 54. Someone will know by the serial tag im sure. The motor is a straight six cylinder and is loose. Transmission is a 3 speed on the column. As you can tell even by the battery it has not run in quite awhile. Chrome is all there and body is straight and really solid for its age. Only rust through is on the rocker on passenger side. See photos. Trunk and floorboards are solid. I looked underneath when I moved it and frame has surface rust but is solid as well. Interior has had mice as you can see. I bet the mileage is correct or the car would be rusted out worse. I will replace the four flat tires with 15 inch tires that hold air for rolling onto trailer. This car could be a good one to restore fully or do the mechanical stuff and drive it the way it is.
