1971 Fiat 850 Sport Coupe Blue

The 1971 Fiat 850 Sport Coupe is a rare classic that has been well-preserved by its owner for 35 years! He had the car repainted with a white racing stripe and 850 decals in the early 1990s and has won numerous car show trophies in central Ohio. 42k original miles. Car was always been maintained by an Alfa Romeo / Fiat mechanic here in Columbus for the last 30 years. The owner is now in his eighties and I have purchased the car from him. My collection of Alfas, Maseratis and Fiats is large enough and I'm looking for a new home for this 850 sport coupe. It has a factory installed 903 cc engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The car runs great with its two barrel Weber carburetor. There's a small hesitation in the RPM range when the carb goes from primary to secondary stage. Watch the drive videos. The engine revs out great there's just a small hesitation as the secondary opens. Engine leaks a bit of oil...it's Italian. The car overall is in great condition and runs strong. A couple of flaws in the paint work. The hood has a small imperfection and there is a little bit of white overspray which looks like metallic paint on the hood. It's from the stripe. The stripes are not vinyl but they have been painted and cleared over. Flaws are hardly noticeable but I want to make sure I point out any imperfections. During the restoration 30 years ago new floorboards had been installed. The underside is in great condition and has been undercoated. There is an Ansa sport exhaust on the car.
