  • Designed as a luxurious 2+2 grand tourer suitable for all-day driving, the 365 GTC/4 offers a more user-friendly take on the formula set by its world-famous siblings, the 365 GTB/4 & 365 GTS/4 "Daytona". Where the latter was a strict two-seater featuring manual steering and a 175+mph top speed, the 365 GTC/4 offered power steering, a self-adjusting rear suspension, and available air conditioning. Naturally, the 365 GTC/4 therefore offers the expected driving experience from the brand without compromising on luxury - just as its predecessors had done.

With 340hp from its 4.4L 'Columbo' V12 and a five-speed manual, the 365 GTC/4 rewards its drivers with a top speed of just over 160mph while its occupants enjoy a finely wrought interior - one that is, in fact, more spacious than that in the 365 GTB/4. As with most of the company's 2+2 grand tourers, the 365 GTC/4 represents a more readily attainable point of entry to the brand in comparison to its sportier contemporaries - all while offering a far more usable personality. With only 505 produced (compared to 1,406 examples of the 365 GTB/4 & GTS/4 "Daytona"), the 365 GTC/4 represents a historically under-valued Ferrari that is rapidly gaining market recognition for its sublime character and rarity.

Completed in April 1972, this incredible Ferrari 365 GTC/4 Coupe, chassis 15471, is finished in the highly desirable color combination of Nero (Black) over a Nero leather interior. Initially sold through William Harrah's Reno, Nevada distributorship, Modern Classic Motors, this timeless Ferrari was factory factory-equipped with an extensive array of options and amenities including instruments in miles, power steering, power windows, and air conditioning.

By the late-1970s, 15471 entered the collection of famed Hollywood talent agent, Michael Ovitz. In 1975, Mr. Ovitz was considered the most powerful man in show business after co-founding the industry-leading Creative Artists Agency (CAA). For the next twenty years, Mr. Ovitz' company handled an incredible roster including talents such as Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, and Sylvester Stallone. According to accompanying service records, Mr. Ovitz regularly serviced 15471 by Hollywood Sports Cars of Hollywood, California, well into the mid-1980s.

A period registration slip proves the powerbroker kept the car through at least 1984, at which point he negotiated its sale to one of his top clients, Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone. A well-known car enthusiast, Stallone continued servicing 15471 at Hollywood Sports Cars before parting ways with the car in the late-1990s. Additional invoices confirm the car has continued to enjoy meticulous maintenance, with a 2024 service by vintage Ferrari specialist, Tom Yang of Hollowville, New York. Work at that time included a new exhaust center section, motor mounts, and an alternator rebuild. It is now offered with service records, an assortment of tools, and one spare Cromodora alloy rim. Because of its stunning color combination, low miles, and incredible provenance make this the perfect Ferrari for any premier collection. We are proud to offer this iconic motorcar to the most sophisticated collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the investment potential of this magnificent Ferrari!

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us, (314)291-7000 or credit@schmitt.com
