There is a great binder full of documentation including its racing history at the Indianapolis Indiana Speedway. I have had the opertunity to speak with all of the previous owners and have there contact information! Truly a wonderful survivor by all means.
The engine was rebuilt with original bore in 2011 by the second owner. Rebuilt the transmission at the same time. The second also owner painted the left rear quarter panel and rear sail panel in the early 80s from minor rust. Original factory rear tail strip still in place. The coronet is wearing is only second dual exhaust in it’s lifetime. The exhaust tips are original.
I have replaced the original shocks with KYB shocks. Replace master cylinder as well. I purchased this with just 37,117 miles on the odometer. It now has 41,579 miles on it. Stored in a climate controlled environment most of it lifetime and it truly shows that. Everything works as it should except for the AM radio . This is a 3 speaker system with rear window defroster. See the fender tag breakdown sheet in photos.pictures with all the options. The build sheet pictured was located behind the the driver seat by the third owner. Unfortunately it was not the correct build sheet for this car. Rumor has that this did happen on the assembly line to some vehicles. The original owner claims to have the original dealer window sticker. I’ve asked for it and he refused to let it go.I have all three owners contact information.
