1989 Dodge Dakota Red SPORT

Vehicle Description
I bought this almost 6 years ago, thinking I was going to have time to cherry it out, maybe show it. I got it from a guy in Georgia, and it had 234,696 miles on it. Today, it has 234,972. So it’s not like I drive it a lot. Because it came out of Georgia, I don’t think it has ever been exposed to road salt. If I could name the one outstanding feature of this truck, it’s the body. Very clean. No dents or rust. For a 35 year old truck, that is something. It needs a new top, but there was one included when I bought the car and needs to be put on. There is a picture of it unfolded. It pulls to the right some, and when I took it to be aligned, they said to replace the ball joints or the alignment won’t hold. I put in a new passenger side window motor, and replaced the battery about a year ago and keep a trickle charger on it. Truth is, I’m never going to get around to really fixing it up the way it should be, and I keep paying insurance and licensing every year on it, so it is time for someone who really sees this truck for what it can be to take over. I noticed from the vehicle history, it was a Florida car.
Vehicle Details
The Dodge Dakota Sport Coverible was only made between 1989 and 1991. I hear different numbers of how many were made, but somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000.
