The truck was purchased brand new from Grizzly Auto Center in Missoula, Montana in 1994 and owned by a retired fire chief and Vietnam veteran in Darby, Montana for 20 years (the same town they filmed the TV show Yellowstone). During his ownership, the truck was meticulously maintained and records were kept dating all the way back to the purchase date. Regular oil changes every5k miles, fuel filter every 10k miles, etc. The truck did not tow and has no goose-neck hitch. It had a bed camper on it for camping trips around Montana. The first owner passed away at theage of 71 in 2013 after owning the truck for nearly 20 years and putting only 145k miles on it. Upon passing, a dealership in Great Falls, Montana purchased the truck and the owner of the dealership put it into his private car collection. It was in the collection for 12 years and only saw 3,000 miles during this time and it was never registered for the road. While it was tucked away for 12 years, I was told it received new upper and lower ball joints, U joints, KDP procedure, brakes, 3rd gen tow mirrors, rear air lift suspension and other miscellaneous work. Fast forward to June 2025, the car collection was being sold off by the elderly gentlemen and I acquired the truck. I had it shipped across the country to where I live now in Marco Island, FL with the intent to enjoy it briefly and sell it. It sits in myclimate controlled garage and has barely over 148k miles.

Since my ownership, I took the time to get all of the fluids professionally flushed, including:Oil, Oil Filter, Fuel filter, Air Filter, Transmission Fluid, Transfer Case fluid, & Front/Rear Differential fluids. I also had new front and rear Rancho shocks installed. The stock exhaust was rather bland, so I opted for a better looking/sounding 4 inch exhaust from MBRP with a muffler so itdoesn't add much noise or drone. The chrome tip also makes the truck look nicer. Next, I had newUltra chrome 16x8 inch wheels installed and wrapped in 35 x 12.5 inch TOYO Open Country A/T tires. The tires on the truck were around 12 years old, so new tires were a must. To get the new bigger tires on, the truck needed a 2 inch level kit on the front and an alignment was completed afterwards. The truck drives fantastic and there is NO rubbing when turning at full lock. I also had the truck professionally detailed and hand waxed. All of the fluids, filters and upgrades mentioned totaled over $7,000 with receipts and the truck has seen less than 100 miles since the service.
The OEM catalytic converter, muffler and extra left-over fluids from the most recent service in June and other small misc parts will be included in a cardboard box inside the cab.Carfax states one accident in 1996 which resulted in NO damage and you can see that CarFax states zero damage (see last pictures). It happenedduring parallel parking nearly 30 years ago. This is a 31 year old truck with ORIGINAL factory body paint, so it does have some small rock chips. I've shown anything worth mentioning in the pictures and videos. The bed has surface scrapes, but is in great shape and could be line-x'd to look perfect if needed, but I felt that keeping it original would show how well it was taken care of and give the buyer the option to do what they want with it. The truck starts up immediately, shifts smoothly, drives straight and turns heads (see videos). With only 148k miles and a perfect maintenance history, you can expect many more years of enjoyment on this classic Cummins DodgeRam2500.
