1969 Plymouth Roadrunner / Dodge Coronet Super Bee A12 (Clone)

Vehicle Description
Up for auction is a 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee A12 Clone. It is a very well done clone with a lot of attention to detail. This car can be financed thru JJ Best. I've only had it about 5 months but I've decided to build a Factory Five Racing 33 Hot Rod and can't afford to do both.
I have a clean Texas title and the car can be financed through JJ Best..
This car started life as a 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 with a 318 engine, auto transmission, AC, PS and AM radio. The previous owner built it as a street/strip car with a 440 engine built to A12 specs with correct Holley 3X2 carbs, high lift cam, 10.5 compression, solid lifters and headers with a new 3 inch exhaust system. The A12 engines are very rare and were built to run with 426 Hemi engines for about 1/3 the cost. The builder also installed a 8.75 posi-trac rear end with a Detroit Locker and 410 gears, modified A727 transmission, a 2500 RPM stall converter and a Line Lock. It was scary fast but hard to drive on the street due to the stall converter, the Detroit Locker and the modified transmission. I replaced the Locker and the 410 gears with a regular positrac and 323 gears. The transmission and the stall converter were replaced with a rebuilt TorqueFlite A727 Transmission and a factory correct Torque Converter from Summit Racing. The line lock was removed. Now the car is just very very fast but can be driven on the street with no issues. The builder removed the heater/defroster system to save weight I guess. This was fine for me because I always install a custom Vintage Air Gen 5 AC/Heater/Defrost system in the cars I buy. Summit Racing sells the system for approx $2400. The hardest part of installing the Vintage system is removing the old heater boxes under the dash.
The AM radio has been removed and replaced with a oil pressure gauge and a extra water temp gauge. The original gas gauge and water temp gauge both work. The original 120 mph speedometer has been replaced with a correct 150 mph speedometer. All the light bulbs except the headlights have been replaced with LED bulbs. The original builder had it painted and installed new interior including new custom front bucket seats, rear seat covers, door panels, carpet and console with a custom shifter. The dashboard does not have any cracks or tears and the headliner is in good shape. Before painting, the body rear quarter panels and the interior floors and the trunk floor were replaced. The body work was very well done. New Coker tires with Cragar Wheels were installed. The car came from the factory with standard drum brakes all around. They were replaced with Wilwood Disc brakes on the front and the stock 11 inch drum brakes on the rear. I installed Power Brakes on the car. A new vacuum pump had to be installed because the motor did not produce enough vacuum because of the high lift cam.
The suspension has been upgraded with correct heavy duty 6 leaf springs and heavy duty shocks on the rear and drag shocks on the front. The car drives straight and true and does not shake, shimmy or pull to the side. There is no rust anywhere on or under the car.
The car runs, drives and sound exactly like what it is. It is a beast.
This car gets more attention than any car I've ever owned. Anywhere I take it somebody wants to talk about it and wants to take pictures or videos. If I have it sitting in the driveway people stop to look at it.
Almost everything I purchased for the car came from Summit Racing. Summit Racing has 4 retail stores in the country and one of the stores is about 10 miles from my house.
I have over 52k invested in the car and have the receipts for everything purchased for it. The reserve price is what I have in the car.
There are no door dings on the car.
