1966 Dodge Coronet 500 - 2 door hardtop - 440 automatic - New Paint - L@@K!

Vehicle Description
For sale is a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 two door hardtop, 440 engine with a 727-torque flight automatic transmission. Engine has had a mild cam put in it, it also has long tube hooker header into a full exhaust, aftermarket demon carburetor. This car is a factory 383 automatic car but later had a 440 put in it by the previous owner. Car runs and drives nicely, sounds awesome and would make for a great weekend cruiser.
This car was stripped down to bare metal before its last paint job. It has a new silver and charcoal two tone paint scheme. You can see some low spots in the body throughout the car. To make it perfect the car should be sanded, blocked and re painted. The engine bay was not stripped and painted when the car got painted and shows signs of old purple and black paint. Car has had new quarters put on it by previous owner. Car is virtually rust free, floors, quarters, trunk, and frame are all very solid. Has Mangum 500 style wheels with good tires. The car is missing the hood trim and the two upper and lower trunk trim moldings. The center chrome trunk trim is pitted pretty badly. Bumpers are a bit dull and should be redone or replaced. Good looking car otherwise.
This is a factory bucket seat console car. The interior is in good shape for its age. Has new carpet. Seats were recovered at one time a while ago by previous owner but are beginning to show their age. They need to be recovered, and the driver's seat foam needs to be redone due to heavy deuteriation. Dash is in good shape with two faint cracks running horizontally towards the windshield. Door panels are in nice shape for the most part, headliner is in decent shape, the center console is missing some trim and the rear section. It also had a crack in the right side up by the shifter. There is no radio installed in the vehicle. Car does have new carpet and new door seals.
Mopar fender tag decodes as a Factory 383 - 4brl, automatic, special order, AM radio, A/C w/ heater, black paint with black vinyl bucket seats with console.
Like the description says this is a nice weekend driver quality car. This car is currently NOT show car material, but with some minor improvements you could have a super nice classic muscle car that will turn heads! True mileage is unknown. Clean and clear MO title.
