318 2bbl

904 Automatic transmission

Original California car. Was brought to Arkansas in 1995, but was never registered due to a bad cylinder. I do have the original numbers matching engine and trans. I obtained a 318 2bbl and a 904 trans out of a 1968 Barracuda we did a Gen3 Hemi swap on. Motor has been checked and cleaned. Runs great. We installed a set of heads out of a 1979 Dodge truck along with a new cam, lifters and timing chain. I was able to clean the original gas tank and reuse it along with the original sending unit. Just had to install a new pickup sock. Blew the original fuel lines out and replaced all the rubber lines. The brakes are great. Replaced all the rubber hoses and flushed all the hard lines. Installed a manual brake master cylinder and bled all the brakes. We installed a factory correct set of 14” road wheels with new Bf Goodrich tires. Also installed some new rear shocks. Car rides good. Checked all the wiring and replaced all the bulbs including all 4 headlight bulbs. Installed a new ignition switch, starter relay and voltage regulator. Has two complete sets of keys. All new battery cables and a fresh battery. Checked all under hood wiring and secured it all like new. The car is very solid. The trunk floor is rusted over the fuel tank due to the trunk mat left in there along with a lot of other junk. It is structurally sound. If you left the car like it is, I wouldn’t even replace it. With the original mat in there you can’t tell its bad. I did clean and neutralize it and stopped it from getting any worse. It did have some significant rust on the upper portion of the dutchman along the bottom of the rear glass. We professionally repaired it right here in my shop. So that won’t be a problem anymore. Other rust in the car can be seen in a video on my BR Motorsport page. The interior floors are rock solid. No rust at all. This car has never been wrecked or painted on. Still wears all of its original Y3 Cream paint. It buffed out nicely. We treated the roof with epoxy and good PPG urethane paints. We installed a new tan vinyl top from Top Creations. Polished all the trim and installed a new windshield and re-installed the original rear glass. The interior was in very good condition. The carpet was worn badly so we replaced that. The front seat is worn from getting in and out. We took an aftermarket seat cover and custom fit it. Turned out nice. The rear seat is 95% with the exception of some splitting at the seams up by the package tray. The seat belts were deeply cleaned and turned out great. I have $23,000 in the car, parts and labor. I can provide a work log to verify all work and all expenditures. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
