1966 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertiblbe

Vehicle Description
Just in time for show season we have a gorgeous 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible. This 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 is being offered at NO RESERVE!!! This Coronet was sold new in Red with a power convertible top, power steering, bucket seats, console shift, AM radio with a single dash speaker, manual drum brakes and crank windows. The engine is a 318 Poly mated to a 727 Torque flight automatic with an 8.75 rear end. This is a "TURN KEY" car that's ready to hit the road. The Coronet has a gorgeous coat of red paint with red/black bucket seats and a black power top. The car is a very nice older restoration with some previous rust repair to the quarter panels. The doors fenders and rockers are all solid. The floor pans are also in clean solid condition. The firewall, fender aprons, and torque boxers are solid. To the best of my knowledge this is the original metal to the car. I also photographed the trunk with the mat and spare wheel pulled up to examine the floor. All of which is clean, solid, and dry. The convertible top was replaced within the past decade. The car has mostly been kept inside so the roof is in excellent shape. The car is mostly stored with the top up so it doesn't show any fold marks. The seats were reupholstered many years ago. There's a small rip on the driver seat bottom that's hardly noticeable, otherwise the seats are in good shape. The door panels are new as well as a set of embroidered Lloyds floor mat's. The dash pad is also brand new. The radio does power up but it does not get a signal and needs a new dash speaker. All of the interior trim is intact and complete with working interior lights in the console and rear interior panels. The drivetrain in the Coronet is strong and smooth. The car has a nice subtle rumble out of a pair of dual exhaust with a set of Flowmaster mufflers. There are no major leaks or any fluid consumption issues. This 318 despite its age runs very clean and efficient. The rings and valve seals all seem to be doing their job at keeping the engine running smooth and making sure all the fluids stay where they belong. The car goes through all its gears without issue. the rear axle feels like a 2.76 center section but I've personally never looked that deep into it. The carburetor is brand new along with the fuel pump, sending unit, and fuel tank. The car sounds great, and has a very unique and authentic feeling of the road with the red line Bias Ply tires. The power steering makes it very easy to maneuver around town and park. It's an absolute blast to cruise in, It's very smooth and user friendly constantly captivating positive attention there's nothing more iconic than a vintage red 1960's convertible. The Coronet is being sold (AS-IS) (WHERE-IS). The odometer currently reads 26,800 miles which is easy to assume it has rolled over. Because of this and the age of the car I am selling this car as "True Milage Unknown" with an assumption of it having 126,800 miles. Additionally I will also note the fuel gauge is inaccurate. There are no refunds or warranties. Please reach out to me if you'd like to see the car in person before the end of the auction. I have the keys and a clean title in hand. I can refer shippers for any long distance buyers. The car also must be paid for in full with any checks or bank transfers cleared before the car or title leave my possession.
