Vehicle Description

57 YEAR OLD TIME-CAPSULE OF A TIME FORGOTTEN! THIS 1968 CHARGER IS IN EXTREMELY NICE CONDITION WITH VERY FEW FLAWS.NO ACCIDENTS AND ONLY 2 OWNERS (I'M THE 2ND OWNER).I go into all the details in my Youtube video here - https://youtu.be/1tfIhmRt0G4If you have been looking for the 1968-1970 style Charger, then look no further! This car is the one you have wanted!I'm the 2nd owner and had since December 2020. Car was completely original when I purchased it other than 1 repaint to factory color due to fading (it lived in Texas majority of it's life). No rust top or bottom! It does have a few very small bubbles on the rear lower 1/4 panels. Not bad and really not noticeable, but I want full transparency on the condition. I professionally installed a newer Gen3 HEMI engine with automatic overdrive transmission and modern fuel injection into this car. It's a factory power steering and air-conditioned car and both work great! The car makes just over 445 horsepower and 488 torque (at flywheel).Car is located outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. For questions not answered in this ad, please send me a message at 98saleen@nc.rr.comBuyer to arrange pickup and shipping. If local NC buyer, I can help with shipping/delivery within a reasonable distance.---> DON'T BUY SOME OTHER JUNK MOPAR WITH ISSUES, BUY THIS ONE AND GET IN AND DRIVE!!!!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Fender Tag Breakdown -

Background -I am the 2nd owner of this car. Purchased in December 2020 from the original owners that live about 20 minutes from me.The car lived majority of its life in Texas before it moved to NC.Car was running with the original 318 but was weak to me, so I performed a full conversion using a wrecked 2006 Dodge Daytona donor car. I used the engine, transmission, radiator, cooling fans, ac condenser, transmission cooler, power steering cooler, etc from the donor car. I had to use the 2006 shifter to work with the NAG1 transmission. I installed a drive by wire gas pedal to work the throttle body.I had the rearend completely rebuilt and installed a new Sure-Grip posi and 3.73 gears from Dr. Diff.I had the air-conditioning modified to work with new lines and fittings to match the 2006 compressor.I installed a Borgeson steering box and all new steering components.I installed Hotchkiss front a-arms, rear leaf springs, and shocks front and rear.I upgraded the brake master cylinder and converted to disc brakes on front of car from Dr. Diff.I go into all the details in my Youtube video here - https://youtu.be/1tfIhmRt0G4Why I'm selling it -My daughter just got accepted to a 4 year college, she graduates high school this summer. My wife and I are going to take care of the tuition fees and living costs for her, so she doesn't have student debt. While I don't want to sell this car (it's my dream car), I'd rather use the money to help my daughter's future).Car is in great condition inside and out. Runs great, cruises smooth, air conditioning and heat work great, and gets decent gas mileage (14 to 16 around town) on E85.
